It looks like there may be a fee. Tod ##### Hey guys, just wanted to let everybody know we are still planning our fencing clinic on June 27th. We have our schedule setup at this point, and I can send you one if you would like. If I could get a tenative headcount from your club that would be awesome. We were mainly planning on Butte and Helena, but would be more than happy to have Missoula and Billings as well. We are aiming at the beginner to intermediate fencer, but can adjust as needed. We will be mainly focusing on foil, as you can use the skills from foil, especially footwork wise, in the other weapons, but will have time and staff to adjust for the other two weapons if there is a desire for it. There will also be an hour dedicated to refereeing, with a Q&A session for those that want more in depth answers. Please let me know how many you think will be able to come, I will be sending out another email in the next couple days with a more robust mission statement and pricing detail. Here's the latest info. Tod ##### Fencing Development Clinic Recently, our division has seen an increase in both the number of fencers and the number of clubs. Some have expressed interest in educational opportunities to further the development of their programs. As MSUFC has a strong interest in promoting our sport in the region, we would like to offer such an opportunity. On Saturday, June 27th, MSUFC will host a clinic for beginning and intermediate fencers. The focus will be on development of fencing fundamentals, with the intent of providing many helpful exercises and drills that participants can take back to their clubs and use to develop their own programs. The clinic will be taught by a number of our more experienced instructors/ fencers, all of whom are competitive fencers. Here are the details: Date: Saturday, June 27 Place: Romney Gym, MSU campus, Bozeman Time: 9 AM - 5 PM Cost: $30.00 Bring: Fencing gear, water bottle, $5.00 for lunch - this is not included in the clinic fee. If you wish to bring your own lunch, feel free to do so, but please note this on your registration, as it will help us with our food needs estimates.
