Due to other commitments, Taryn will not be teaching a beginning epee class, so we will offer beginning foil on Mondays and Tuesdays. Open fencing will continue to be on Wednesdays. Members are welcome on any day, and equipment will be available for anyone who wishes to come fence on any day. Please get the word out and let anyone who might be interested know about the new class. We will have open fencing on Wednesdays. Those of you who are going to take another class or continue as club members need to submit you dues for March or Class fees if you are taking another class. I am working on setting up our account so that dues can be paid via paypal. More on that later. We should have advanced coaching in epee courtesy of Cara O'Donnell and Taryn Hall. I will continue coaching foil on Wednesdays as well ad teaching the beginner class on Monday and Tuesday. Club members are invited to come and fence on Mon, Tues and Wednesdays. If you are not continuing in the club, please turn in any club equipment by Wednesday, March 4 so that it can be used for the next class. We will be making a club equipment order in the next few weeks. If you are interested in purchasing any equipment, let me know. We get a club discount from Absolute Fencing. In other news, we are looking at offering a youth class for 8-10 year olds. This will depend on the number of people interested and the availability of time. We really don't want younger fencers bouting with teenagers and adults. I will be preparing a quarterly financial report for the club for March so everyone knows where their dues go. Thanks, Tod
