| Sunshine Stabfest Missoula Fencing Match, 7 March 2009 |

| Five Helena fencers went down to Missoula for the Sunshine Stabfest. Taryn Hall, Katie Glenn, Sallyann Mulcahy and Tod Glenn entered the open epee competition while Alex Glenn fenced novice foil while Tod entered open foil. Once again the club faced zsome of the top fencers in the state. Taryn Hall finished a respectible 8th place in open epee in a pool of 16 fencers. Katie placed 13, edging out her father at 14th and Sallyann in 15th. This was Sallyann's first match.
Alex Glenn won two of his seeding bouts, but was eliminated in his first DE match. Tod won two of his seeding bouts, but was quickly eliminated by 'D' rated Kole Fosse. Full results can be seen here. We didn't have a camera operator, so only a couple of pics were taken. |
